COMPARISON
Comparison between the parents
There was a lot of variety between the parents that live in Europe. A lot of things were different, but weird things were also similar. For example all of our parents thought that we teenagers spent their spare time in a less sufficient way than our parents them self. There was a difference in how our parents spent their spare time and how much time they had by themselves. Another difference was in the family itself. One family had 8 people and others 4 and 5. Things that had to do with spare time for our parents were very similar, but how they spent their free time was very different. Some liked to be outside, others inside. Overall the answers weren’t really different from each other, but it wasn’t always fully the same.
Comparison between the grandparents
The comparison between the grandparents was actually very weird, from what we expected. A lot of things were different. The way in how they spent their free time and how it was influenced for example was very different from each other. The amount of people living in the same house is similar. It was around 4-6 people in each house. The other thing that was very similar is how the grandparents earned their pocket money. It was by working most of the time. The last similar thing was what the grandparents thought of the teenagers. In general they thought we didn’t spent it better than they did, we are only staying at home and using our mobiles and television a lot.
Comparison between the grandparents and parents
There were overall a lot of differences, but also some similarities that we wouldn’t think of. For example in both grandparents and parents their families were around 4 to 5 people in one house. Another similarity is that the grandparents and parents both worked hard at an early age to earn their pocket money. And of course the grandparents and the parents both think the same about us spending our team too much on social media. A difference is that everyone did something else in their spare time, one played outside others had dance lessons. There was also a difference in how much they had during their spare time.

COMPARISON WITH INDIA
(This information is based on when the grandparents/parents were still teenagers)
In the time of the grandparents and parents, the amount of people in a house could lead up to 10 people in India. In the Netherlands that number is only 4 to 5 people in a house which is actually different a lot compared to us. In India, the women had no professions and the men had most of the times a profession in the business. Some of the grandparents and parents in India have the same profession. In the Netherlands, the grandparents had way different professions than the parents had. For example, one grandparent was a butcher and another one was a mechanic. The parents and grandparents in India earned their pocket money by working at an early age. This is actually very similar to us in the Netherlands, the grandparents and the parents also needed to work at an early age to earn money. The grandparents and parents in India think that teenagers nowadays are way too busy with their phones and that in the old days they played outside instead of being on social media. The grandparents and parents in the Netherlands think about that the exact same way. This comparison showed us that somethings can be way different in India compared to the Netherlands, but some other things can be exactly the same.

REFLECTION
The project that we have done went very well. Everybody did their own tasks. Some things that could have been better was our working speed. It was a little bit slow which made us have to do more at home. The tasks were very well divided which made things easier. Everybody also worked well on the poster. The video conference was a bit embarrassing. We could have prepared it a little bit better, because we didn’t really divide the tasks over there. After the first few questions it went a bit more fluent. It were very nice students that we have met. We obtained a lot of information from them to succeed our project.
